What Every Plant-Based Eater Must Have in Their Kitchen

Switching to the plant-based way of eating might make you feel like you’re the new kid in school. You know, like not knowing your way around and wanting to experience something familiar.  You may feel like you have to start over in the kitchen and rebuild your favorite” go to” line up of recipes. I know what that felt like. Since adopting the plant-based life over six years ago I’ve created my favorite “go to” everyday plant-based recipes. Every Plant-Based eater must have their own “go to” everyday recipes. It helps with your success in making the change.  I’m happy to share 30 of my “go to’s” which might provide you with a few to add to your own list.

3 Points to Remember

When first making the transition to eating whole foods that are plant-based, it’s easy to forget that like many things, complete change takes time.  In this quick video I share the three points to remember when making the switch along with how my family made it through in the early days of our transition.

Tips on creating “go to” plant-based recipes

Here’s What Every Plant-Based Eater Must Have in Their Kitchen

Most every household has between 7-12 “go to” recipes that they use on a continual basis.  It makes sense, we’re creatures of habits right? I know it took a bit for my family to establish our “go to” meals. We continue to monitor and adjust our favorites.  Since I’ve been living the plant-based life for over six years and have established our “go to’s” I thought I’d share some of my favorites. Just Starting Out ?

First things first. If you’re beginning the plant-based lifestyle journey in full force be sure to communicate with your healthcare provider.  It’s important to partner with your provider in order to receive guidance when weight and cholesterol levels begin to change. Often during transition, medications that you take may need adjustments. It’s possible that some (if not all) may be  eliminated  by your physician. This is a critical reason to undergo this lifestyle change with your health care provider on board. Learn more HERE.
