3 Favorite Summertime Plant-Based Recipes

There was a time in my life that I called myself “kitchen impaired” meaning I didn’t know my way around a kitchen. I relied on lots of visits to area restaurants, packaged foods and take outs.  When I switched to the plant-based lifestyle in 2013 there was a time that I thought I wouldn’t be able to enjoy my favorite summertime recipes.

The good news is that when switching to eating whole foods that are plant-based, I embraced learning how to cook. I also figured out how to adapt my summer favorites.  I’m delighted to share three of my favorite summertime plant-based recipes with you.

Just Starting Out?

If you’re beginning the plant-based lifestyle journey in full force be sure to communicate with your healthcare provider.  It’s important to partner with your provider in order to receive guidance when weight and cholesterol levels begin to change. Often during transition, medications that you take may need adjustments. It’s possible that some (if not all) may be  eliminated by your physician.
